Effects of hepatic perfusate in rabbits by stimulation and blockade of R.E.S. upon growth of Ehrlich Sarcoma

Abstract
The effects of hepatic perfusates of Ringer¢¥s solutions in rabbits by means of stimulation and blockade upon growth of Ehrlich Sarcoma were observed and the results were as followings.
1) The hepatic perfusates in rabbits by stimulation of R. E. S. inhibited the growth of Ehrlich Sarcoma in early stage, while it continued treatment promoted the growth in late stage and shorten the average survival period of tumor-bearing mice. But the active reactions of the solutions had not been decreased by heating the solution.
2) The hepatic perfusates in rabbits by blockade of R. E. S. were able to inhibit and sometimes regress the growth of Ehrlich Sarcoma and lengthen the average survival period of tumor-bearing mice. But the active reactions of the solutions had not been decreased by heating the solutions.
3) It was indicating slow growth of Ehrlich Sarcoma and lengthening slightly the average survival period with prednisolone treatment, while in Ehrlich solid Sarcoma was not so clear as in Ehrlich ascites Sarcoma.
4) The combined treatmennt of hepatic perfusates in rabbits by stimulation and blockade of R. E. S. and Prednisolone revealed the evidences of more clearly inhibiting the growth of Ehrlich Sarcoma. It presumed that they were co-ordinating anti-growth factors of tumor.
5) As result it was indicated that the hepatic perfusates in rabbits by stimuclation and especially blockade of R. E. S contained some of active factors against growth of Ehrlich Sarcoma.
We can emphasize that it is significant to identify the main factors for cancer-treatment.
